Parisian Peel® Medical Microdermabrasion exfoliates, refreshes and renews your skin.
This non-invasive skin rejuvenation therapy uses a directed stream of micro-crystals combined with a vacuum to rejuvenate the skin. When used alone, or in combination with surgery, facials, moisturizing treatments and chemical peels, it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, brown spots, acne scars and other skin imperfections.
Using Parisian Peel's advanced microdermabrasion, your doctor can remove age spots, fine lines around the eyes, lips and neck as well as improve the appearance of stretch marks. What is a Parisian Peel treatment like?
Micro crystals are vacuumed across your skin through a delicate patented handpiece held by your technician. As the micro crystals pass over the skin (controlled by an advanced digital processor), they virtually erase the imperfections and the effects of sun-damage. A normal treatment takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Treatments for deeper scarring may take longer. Weekly treatments are recommended and depending on your skin's condition, you may require five to nine treatments.

Skin Resurfacing using the DiamondTome™ laser reduces the effects of aging—wrinkles, lines, changes in texture and even changes in color—to the face, neck, chest, cleavage, arms and hands. The wand is passed over the patient’s face so that no loose crystals or other abrasives contaminate you or your environment. Exfoliation, too, occurs when the wand is drawn across the skin. Plus the system does not leave abrasives behind that can contaminate you or your environment.
Even at its highest settings, DiamondTome™ is regarded as a gentler resurfacing system than prior generations of lasers. And it produces more dramatic results than other skin care systems. The system’s precise diamond wand chip size and vacuum settings assure the appropriate amount of exfoliation that will produce uniform results.
CRYSTAL MICRODERMABRASION
Aluminum oxide crystals have been the most commonly used abrasive agent for the last 20 years. The irregular crystal shape makes them a more effective abrader. Aluminum oxide is also an inert material and it causes no allergic or adverse reactions. It is not toxic when ingested and is non-carcinogenic.
Aluminum oxide is the second hardest mineral (diamonds are first).
Sodium bicarbonate crystals are an organic alternative to aluminum oxide crystals but they are a lot softer and less effective in microdermabrasion. They are used on patients with hyper-pigmentation and can be easily washed off after treatment (sodium bicarbonate is water-soluble).
