Obagi System
Obagi System skin care products are prescription strength formulations regulated by the U.S. FDA and can only be sold with a prescription through a physician, such as a Plastic Surgeon. On By comparison, retail products, called "Cosmeceuticals," do not correct skin cells, but instead mask surface damaged skin for a temporary period. As with all prescription-grade products, specific precautions should be taken before and during the use of Obagi System products. Your doctor will discuss these with you during your initial consultation.

Laser Systems
Sciton
The Sciton laser incorporates modular, upgradeable components that offer a variety of adaptations. It is the system most often used at the Rocky Mountain Laser Aesthetics for skin repair and rejuvenation procedures such as removal of redness and sunspots and skin tightening. This same laser has applications for treatments as varied as high-speed hair removal, tattoo removal, spider vein treatment and rejuvenating facial micro laser peels. Unlike most lasers that distribute energy unevenly, resulting in hot spots that can cause unnecessary burning and cold spots where treatment is ineffective, the Sciton is designed to deliver even beams to all areas of treatment. Its large-area pattern generator (LAPG) and flat-top laser beam profile with built-in extended skin cooling results in more comfortable and effective treatments of every sort.

Botox Cosmetic

Juvéderm™

Perlane®
Perlane®, a next generation dermal filler and the newest member of the Restylane® family, was approved by the FDA for use in the United States in May 2007. Built of biotechnologically engineered, non-immunogenic, stabilized hyaluronic acid gel particles, the primary difference between Restylane and Perlane is that the hyaluronic acid gel particles in Perlane are larger than those in Restylane. As such, Perlane is intended to be implanted into the deep dermis to superficial layer of the subcutis to add volume to restore surface contour in facial wrinkles and folds. The increased size of the particles break down slower than the smaller particles in Restylane and therefore last longer—up to one year. Perlane delivers enhanced volumizing traits and can be used on the entire face including lips, folds and wrinkles in the deep dermis to the superficial layer of the subcutis. Because hyaluronic acid is manufactured in the body, no pre-treatment testing is required and no animal byproducts are used in Perlane either.
